On any HPE ProLiant Gen10 server running VMware VMware ESXi 6.0,VMware ESXi 6.5 or VMware ESXi 6.7 with HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) firmware version 1.30, warnings on some of the sensors viewed in the hardware status tab in the vSphere Web Client will be displayed.
Note: In the example below, the screenshots were taken from a ProLiant DL380 Gen10 with LOM, ALOM and slot1 NIC.

Any HPE ProLiant Gen10 server running VMware VMware ESXi 6.0,VMware ESXi 6.5 or VMware ESXi 6.7 with HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) firmware version 1.30.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, update to HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) Firmware version 1.37 (or later), available at the following URL:

In addition, update to the following HPE customized ESXi Operating Systems versions:
- ESXi 6.0 U3 Sept 2018 (or later)
- ESXi 6.5 U2 Sept 2018 (or later)
- ESXi 6.7 U1 Oct 2018 (or later)

PR 2157501: You might see false hardware health alarms due to disabled or idle Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) sensors
Disabled IPMI sensors, or sensors that do not report any data, might generate false hardware health alarms.
This issue is resolved in this release. This fix filters out such alarms.

PR 2224767: You might see false hardware health alarms from Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) sensors
Some IPMI sensors might intermittently change from green to red and the reverse, which creates false hardware health alarms.
This issue is resolved in this release. With this fix, you can use the advanced option command esxcfg-advcfg -s {sensor ID}:{sensor ID} /UserVars/HardwareHealthIgnoredSensors to ignore hardware health alarms from selected sensors.
